trying. A sleazy blend of sexploitation and blaxploitation make this movie a real winner.

This film was originally sent to the BBFC at the script stage. Based on a reading of the script the BBFC informed the company that the film was generally likely to fall within the desired 15 classification. However the company were advised that some scenes had the potential to take the film to
18 , or be otherwise problematic, dependent on how they were shot. In particular the BBFC advised that scenes featuring child actors should not be filmed in such a way as to sexualise the performers. It was also advised that scenes featuring

The film deals with the dangers of online interaction, especially relating to vulnerable individuals. It deals with subjects such as bullying and sexual predators
targeting the young, as well as websites and forums that showcase and promote suicide. There are scenes that feature a girl jumping out of a window, a young boy taking a drug overdose after he has been the victim of online bullying and another teenager
hanging himself. However, none of these sequences linger on the fate of the victims or offer novel instructional detail. Furthermore, the film depicts the deaths as shocking and offers a critique of the malign influences that caused them. There is also a
scene in which one of the leading characters deliberately cuts himself in the arm but this is contextualised by the audience knowing that he has a history of self-harming, which points to his mental state and explains his actions in the film's narrative.
Again, no undue detail is presented and this, as well as the suicide scenes, meet the requirements of the BBFC Guidelines at 15 which state that dangerous behaviour (for example, hanging, suicide and self-harming) should not dwell on detail
which could be copied . The Guidelines at 15 also state that No theme is prohibited provided the treatment is appropriate for 15 year olds . In the case of Chatroom , the appropriate treatment is provided by the warning
elements of the film and by the highlighting of the dangers of an online world.
The strong sex references in the work occur in the context of online sex chat and paedophiles posing as children or teenagers to lure
the unwary. However, these references also have contextual justification in terms of illustrating the potential dangers of the online world. At 15 , the BBFC's Guidelines state that There may be strong verbal references to sexual behaviour, but
the strongest references are unlikely to be acceptable unless justified by context .
The film also contains infrequent strong language.
The BBFC cut the 2010 Optimum DVD by 8s: Cuts were made to remove sight of unsimulated cruelty to animals (a boar being chased and attacked by dogs; a live deer strung up and struggling on a frame; a live eel being cooked).

Summary review: Pretty damn entertaining
Children of the Corn 3 is pretty damn
entertaining. Not as good as two, but still superior to the original and well worth watching. It's certainly never effective as a straight horror movie, but it's got plenty of camp appeal and some amusing gore.

ain't menacing, like Malachi was in the first one. Still, it's pretty awesome, with a nice scarecrow attack, a corncifiction, a big scary corn monster that eats a doll, some computer generated fireballs, a crazy agitated priest, a chick totally melting,
a corn-thieving hobo who gets his comeuppance, icky bugs, a scary corn-bible and a glimpse into the mysterious world of international corn trade.

Summary Review : A Doll Possessed
This film has an interesting
storyline with the spirit of a serial killer possessing a doll.
The special effects are quite good for their time and strangely enough are quite believable. Just don't turn the lights off and watch this movie or you will
be looking over your shoulder for days watching out for your teddy bear with a knife in its hand.
This is the best Child's Play/Chucky movie of all time! It was actually HORROR. This movie deserves to be bought, great
acting, great entertainment, great horror.

This film is a pretty bad one. It has
the aura of a late night erotic thriller but is just too silly.
If you are a Troma fan, you may be able to get through some of the silly parts. One of my favorite quotes in the film is Shawna Sand-Lamas You have the
power. She has my vote for funniest low budget beauty that cannot act at all. Her scenes look like she's in pain trying to get her lines out. Carmen Electra shines in this film though (probably due to her surrounding actors).
I was hoping for a more action filled superhero film in the lines of The Demolitionist and Black Scorpion, but it wasn't. As a matter of fact there isn't much butt stomping by Electra in her nice superhero outfit at all.
The film tries to take itself a little too seriously most of the time, when it could have been made to be a hilarious low budget sexy action film. It should appeal to people that like late night erotic thrillers and don't mind
miniscule budget movies.

was I? I had been recommended it, and told it was disturbing, but it certainly had a massive effect on me.
Christiane F is the true story of a girl who gets seduced by the German nightlife and David Bowie, and
slowly drifts onto heroin.
There are several disturbing parts of this movie. The heroin/prostitution scenes are disturbing, but I didn't get disturbed by these as much as I did the story. The media would have us believe
that heroin users and dealers are monsters and don't have a right to live. The people in this movie are real, and easy to identify with.

York City reporter, teams up with a young psychic, named Mary, to travel to the town where they team up with another couple, psychiatrist Jerry and patient Sandra, to find a way to close the gates before All Saints Day or the dead all over the world will
rise up and kill the living.
The film has a great atmosphere present throughout, which when combined with the effective sound track generates a feel that's perfect for a horror. The effects and make-up used in the film are
great and would still hold up today even after all this time. There are a couple of great scenes in the film that will really make your stomach turn, and looking back it's possible to tell that they may have inspired more modern film makers.
The
acting leaves a lot to be desired, and the script is far from perfect, but the sheer atmosphere alone is enough to compensate. But what counts the most in a film like this is the gore, and there is plenty of it here.

Summary Review: Thought-provoking
Andy is a new teacher and an inner city high school that is like nothing he has ever seen before. The students have to go through a
metal detector when they go through the front door and everything is basically run by a tough kid named Peter Stegman. Soon, Andy and Stegman become enemies and Stegman will stop at nothing to protect his turf and drug dealing business.
Class of 1984 is an entertaining and thought-provoking combination of the Vigilante and High School Drama flick. The film describes the punks as the next generation of important people. It was done as a reworking of Blackboard
Jungle (it is much better than Cruel Intentions and more gutsy). Class of 1984 is an eerie movie because the depiction of unsafe Urban high schools, metal detectors at schools, and security guards would be a reality eight years later in many high
school cities. It is a courageous movie that isn't afraid to deal with important issues.

Summary Review: Gritty
Robots who have been programmed to teach and discipline students in a violence-prone school turn homicidal, and the students must fight back to save their lives.
This is a gritty view of the future with a kind of
ironic humour. The cast shine with the likes of Malcolm MacDowell, Pam Grier and Stacey Keach and in the leading role is charasmatic Bradley Gregg.
Everyone is having fun with this movie and it is this attitude that makes it so watchable. There's a
pumping rock soundtrack including Nine Inch Nails. And great lines ooze from the script.

results in suitcases full of cash being searched for by various groups throughout the Rocky Mountains.
Gabe Walker (Sylvester Stallone) is a mountain rescue worker haunted by the memories of a friend whom he
failed to rescue, and who perished on the ice peaks. Having quit his job and fled the mountains, Gabe must return to the scene of his undoing to track down nefarious villain Qualen (John Lithgow), who is searching the snow for stolen money. Things get
more complicated with the arrival of Gabe's ex-girlfriend Jessie (Janine Turner).
The Theatrical release was cut in the US to receive an R-rating. Almost every violent scene was edited. Most of these cuts involved characters being sprayed with bullets in slow-mo. However the theatrical version is now the definitive.

Several punches and a kick to Gabe's (Sylvester Stallone)
face and chest are cut in the confrontation with Kynette (Lyon).
A scene was altered where Kynette brandishes his knife in Gabe's face. The changes were to tone down sadism and knifeplay
The impalement of Kynette was further reduced.
Three bullets hitting pilot Kristel were reduced to one.
One close up of piton hitting Travers (Rex Linn) which Gabe fires while trapped under the ice was removed, leaving two hits.
Note that previous commentators have suggested that a deleted scene of Hal shooting Travers was a cut when in fact it was the Director's decision to replace the medium range shooting with a more exciting close range volley of pitons

The beating up of Hal
(Michael Rooker) by Delmar has been severely reduced, removing kicks to the face and chest.
Delmar's references to being spurred on to kick Hal by an imaginary football crowd were deleted
After being kicked off the cliff Hal is able to
slash at Delmar with a small knife. Sights of the knife were reduced along with sights of blood from the stabbing stabbing
Travers line Adios, motherfucker! was re-recorded by Rex Linn, with Travers now being heard to say, Adios, I'm
after Walker in a slightly less angry manner.
A bloodied close up of the doomed Qualen's face was removed
James Ferman referred to these cuts in a lecture. He showed a clip which had Craig Fairbrass using a man's head as a football. Fairbrass, was a very popular character in London's East End, and it hurt Ferman to deprive him of his spectacular run-up to
the prostrate victim before kicking the man into goal. Ferman took out most of his kicks, but preserved the entire sequence for his private collection and has shown it with great effect to MPs and others. I show them the cut version first, which
looks bad enough. Then I show them the uncut version. That clinches it: the MPs all cheer the censor's team.
Cliffs of Freedom is a 2019 USA drama by Van Ling. Starring Christopher Plummer, Billy Zane and Tania Raymonde.
The film was submitted in December 2018 and the a re-edited version was
submitted in February 2019. Both received the same rating, with the same consumer advice, and the same running time.

Kubrick only allowed one London cinema to screen the film for the first year of its release. The film was restored to UK distribution after Kubrick's death in 1999.

Anthony Burgess, the author of A Clockwork Orange , said in 1973 that he thought Stanley Kubrick's controversial film based on his novel was boring in places and should have been more violent.

said that in the film Kubrick projected violence for its own sake, and that was damnable . He added: It was a good film, though boring in places, but it should have been more violent, because only by piling on the violence could the absurdity
of violence be shown.
We should have been able to reach a stage in violence where we were just laughing at it. This is what I tried to do in the book.

Watching the completed film, Burgess didn't hold it against Kubrick when his wife, repulsed by its choreographed sex and violence, asked
to leave the screening room after a mere ten minutes. Initially, he even managed to tell the press, This is one of the great books that has been made into a great film.
Maybe he meant what he said. Or maybe he simply wanted
to persuade Kubrick to direct his screenplay Napoleon Symphony. In the following weeks, as well as years, Burgess would radically reassess his opinion of A Clockwork Orange the movie.
Summary Review: Cloning attempt results in inevitable mutation
Bruce Lee has just died. Aided by the brilliant Professor Lucas, cells from the martial arts master's body are removed and grown into three adult Bruce Lee
clones. The three are sent out to battle crime, with one sent to take on a gold smuggler, and the other two teaming up to shut down an evil mad scientist.
The best that can be said for the movie is that a few reviewers found it so
bad as to be funny. Other reviewers agreed with the bad but didn't even find it funny.
